The Ventech LHG (Liquid Heat Generator) is a high-performance, rapid supplemental heater that requires NO FLAME, No Fuel Lines, and produces No Exhaust.
This LHG Kit is designed for the model year 2023-2024 Collins Lightning eMotors EV Type A bus.
The LHG provides fast supplemental heat to achieve cabin heat and window defrost while preserving the battery for other requirements. The result is to preserve driving range while not compromising on safety and comfort. The LHG solution offers ZERO emissions, unlike traditional fuel-fired heaters, keeping your eBus green.
The LHG can add up to 14kW (47,800 BTU/hr.) of heat to your coolant circuit and heater core instantaneously, based on driving conditions.
Fully automatic and managed by its own independent Electronic Control Unit (ECU), the LHG engages and disengages based on drive status, coolant temperature, and other environmental conditions.
The LHG is provided as part of an installation kit tailored specifically for each vehicle application. The LHG is much easier to install than burner-based heaters, as it requires no fuel source and no exhaust pipe. Also, the LHG unit itself requires no regular maintenance.

RETURN & REFUND POLICY Up to 90 days - only for individual unit sales. LHG kits may be returned for a refund; the following conditions apply. Unopened (in their original packaging) kits must be shipped to Ventech at the purchaser’s expense within 90 days of purchase. After inspection of the kit, the purchase price will be refunded less a 20% restocking fee. Open-box returns should be properly re-packaged and protected and shipped to Ventech at the purchaser’s expense within 90 days of purchase. Open-box returns will be inspected, and the purchase price will be refunded less a 30% restocking fee and any deductions for damaged or missing items.
WARRANTY SUMMARY Ventech LLC warrants its products against defects in material and workmanship for fifteen (15) months from shipment or twelve (12) months effective at the time of End User delivery. Replacement parts are covered for six (6) months or the remainder of the original warranty period, whichever is longer. Replacement heaters are considered a “replacement part.” The intent of the Ventech warranty is to protect the end-user heater from such defects and provide free repair or replacement of defective parts in the manner described in the warranty documents. During the warranty period, the exclusive remedy will be for Ventech, at its discretion, to repair or replace those parts which are demonstrated to be defective in material or workmanship.
